Phoebe's Vision

Luxury Hair, Bespoke Education

My vision is to cultivate a supportive, forward-thinking space within the hair industry, one that moves away from competition and burnout as the norm.

I believe in effortless, healthy hair, meaningful education, and genuine connection. In raising standards while protecting wellbeing, for both the stylist and the client.

Through my work, I aim to build confident colourists, refine technical skill, and encourage collaboration over comparison, while proving that elevated results and a balanced career can coexist.

Meet Phoebe

Growing up with a mother who owned a salon, the hair industry has always been part of my life. As a child, I spent weekends and school holidays in the salon, helping out and discovering the joy of creativity. While my dream was once to be a teacher or a lawyer, the common thread was always the same: I wanted a career with purpose, one where I could help people.

After several years studying and working in law, I realised I felt unfulfilled. I craved connection, creativity, and the ability to be my full self, something I couldn’t find behind a desk. At 19, I made the leap into hairdressing and began managing my mother’s salon, giving her the freedom to step back.

It was here that I began to see both the beauty and the challenges of the industry. I loved creating, but I also saw the burnout, the unhealthy work-life balance, the skipped lunch breaks, and the struggle to charge our worth. I knew there had to be a better way.

Inspired by global stylists such as Jaye Edwards, Emily Mander, Lee Quinn, and Chrissy Rasmussen, I developed a passion for lived-in colour and the artistry of effortless blondes and brunettes. Frequent trips to Australia to visit family deepened my love for sun-kissed, beach-inspired colour, something that has become the foundation of my work.

After years of owning and managing a salon, I felt the toll of constant responsibility and the lack of freedom to focus on my own growth. This led me to new opportunities, including joining Orla Hair in Bath, UK, where I worked alongside passionate, inspiring stylists who shared my vision for education and growth. Surrounding myself with like-minded creatives showed me how powerful community can be.

Most recently, I took a leap and relocated to Australia, a place that has always fuelled my creativity and vision. Here, I continue to pursue my passion for lived-in colour while launching education workshops and building Beyond the Blend, a space for education, connection, and community within the industry.
